Every year some of the most talented and popular Native American artists put their work on display at the
Prescott Indian Art Market. The market features both traditional and contemporary works of art, including distinctive jewelry, exquisite ceramics, hand-woven baskets and blankets.
Here are a few key highlights of the event:
- All participating artists are hand-picked by an all-Indian jury that makes selections based on quality in both contemporary and traditional styles.
- The outdoor event will be well-shaded and the weather should be perfect. Art will line the Sharlot Hall Museum walkways amidst flowers and the commemorative rose garden.
- Live entertainment is provided in the ampitheater nearby. Native American musicians, dancers and singers will be on hand to give live performances throughout the weekend.
- Any visit to the art market will be incomplete without sampling the world famous Navajo Fry Bread.

We at Talking Rock encourage you to support the arts community by visiting the Prescott Indian Art Market this weekend. Have fun!
