Talking Rock’s Jay Morrish-designed championship golf course is catching the attention of national golf media for its 18-hole course that winds through more than 1,000 acres of preserved open space. Recent accolades include:
- Making Golf Digest’s list of “Arizona’s Top 25 Golf Courses” for the third consecutive year, maintaining its ranking at number 19 on the 2010/11 “Best in State” list.
- Being named one of the best and most scenic courses on the West Coast by Dan Gleason from Cowboys & Indians magazine.
Talking Rock Golf Course is such a picturesque course because it is built to incorporate existing landscape and natural environment. It was the first golf course in Arizona recognized for being designed, built and maintained in compliance with the Environmental Principles of Golf under the Integrated Golf Course Management Plan.
