Warm weather is here and members and guests are set to enjoy several events planned for the summer. The first of many events are taking place this upcoming weekend. We'll be opening up the Talking Rock pool and spending time with some four-legged friends.

Dog Walk & Luncheon
Sunday, May 30
10:00am

Enjoy a 1.5 hour walk with your dog and neighbors. Lunch on the patio of the Ranch House will be served immediately following. Cost for this event is $20 per person. Net proceeds will go to the United Animal Friends organization. UAF is a no kill organization committed to fostering homeless animals until they finda permanent family to adopt them.

On May 2nd Don & Boise Taylor, Lani Beech and Janet Robbins hosted a wine dinner and silent auction to raise money for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure. It was a very elegant evening with an extraordinary menu and sumptuous desserts.  Guests participated in a silent auction as well as a live auction. Byron Lynn won the grand prize of a dinner for six to be prepared in his home by all those who hosted.  It was a beautiful evening and the group was able to raise $5,640.  Thank you all for attending and donating to a good cause.  

Don't forget! Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 9. Treat mom to a special day with a wonderful meal at Talking Rock. Between 10am-3pm Talking Rock’s culinary team has planned a fantastic menu with all the classics. Various seating times are available for indoor and outdoor dining.
