Prescott Real Estate Sales Strong in 2009

by Talking Rock 24. March 2010 01:47

In the midst of one of the real estate industry’s toughest years, we are pleased to report some positive news on our real estate sales figures for 2009. We rounded out the year with 55 unit sales, with four of those occurring in December alone. In fact, our homesite and home sales combined to surpass the total number of sales in 2007 and 2008!

prescott real estate salesWe attribute our success to a number of things including a thriving clubhouse community, continued infrastructure investments and the decision to continue our marketing operations, even as many others have gone dark. We’ve used the market slow-down to spark creative strategies for reaching new buyers and develop programs that provide members with exciting and diverse opportunities for interaction.

Like everyone else, we’ve felt the effects of the economic downturn, but our commitment to authenticity has not faltered. We continue to provide some of the finest real estate in Prescott Valley, the same member benefits, stunning surroundings and relaxed lifestyle we always have. If you are already a Talking Rock member, thank you, and if you aren’t, we encourage you to visit the community and find out what we are all about.

Introducing the Windmill Wine Club in Prescott

by Talking Rock 17. March 2010 01:37

2010 is off to a running start at Talking Rock. During February we hosted a Valentine’s Day weekend full of opportunities to impress your favorite person and cheered for the Saints and Colts during our Super Bowl Bash.  In addition to our ongoing events, we’ve also started a wine club that has caught on with a quite a few of our members.

Quarterly dues for wine club membership are $35 per person and benefits include:

-         10 percent discount on wine bottle purchases in Ranch House and Coops

Golf Fitness Workouts at Talking Rock

by Talking Rock 3. March 2010 19:49

Did you know that your fitness routine off the golf course is just as important as the 18 holes themselves?  The golf pros at Talking Rock have recently undergone training to help golfers improve their game through overall physical fitness.

On February 16th and 17th, Club General Manager Jim Leisenring and Athletic Director Pam Mitchell attended a golf fitness certification program hosted by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI).  A prestigious certification program, Jim and Pam joined other golf professionals, fitness trainers and medical doctors from across the country to learn how to accurately analyze a golfer's range of motion and understand how it affects their swing.  During the intensive two-day program they learned to identify specific motion characteristics and develop customized golf fitness workouts that can increase flexibility and motor functions, while still addressing a person's physical limitations.

After completing the program, Jim and Pam have become TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructors; joining only two other certified instructors in the area and making Talking Rock the only Prescott golf course to provide such training.

While the obvious benefits of this program are improved golf swing mechanics and a better game, this training can also decrease the likelihood of long-term injury and increase your overall physical fitness.

We are looking forward to sharing this information with you.  Stay tuned in coming weeks for a series of short, informational seminars that will introduce you to the program and provide you the opportunity to take advantage of this exciting new training.
